Columbia River Gorge Hiking Tours
Enjoy hiking Mt. Hood and through the Columbia River Gorge.

Our hiking adventure takes place along the ridge overlooking Mount Hood's conical peak, where we hike across alpine meadows decorated with summer wildflowers. At 11,240 feet, Mount Hood rises above the beautiful Cascade Mountain Range of northern Oregon. This "sleeping" volcano is proclaimed dormant but still vents steam near the summit. It is capped year-round with 11 active glaciers and draped with lush evergreen rainforests.

In addition to Columbia River Gorge hiking tours, we offer a wide variety of bus tours from Portland, and boat tours in Oregon. Take a sightseeing cruise, and enjoy a trip to Hells Canyon.

We also provide a sightseeing wine tour, hot air balloon rides, outdoor adventures, beach tours, and much more.

Hiking Mt. Hood & Through the Columbia River Gorge Description

Hiking Mt. Hood and Through the Columbia River Gorge from Oregon

Our hiking adventure takes place along the ridge overlooking Mount Hood's conical peak where we hike across alpine meadows decorated with summer wildflowers. From our camp on the ridge, we explore numerous trails that intertwine through the national forest and adjoining wilderness areas. Proceeding to the base of the mountain, we hike through the Columbia River Gorge. The Columbia River and its tributaries have cut the Cascade's rough volcanic rock down to sea level, creating their own unique environment at the base of Mount Hood. Our adventure concludes in this magical environment of rushing waterfalls, trickling canopies, and misty fern gullies.

This hiking tour is a great trip for those who have minimal outdoor experience. Expect some longer hikes, but at low elevations with very little technical terrain.
